I am hosting a podcast exploring complexity, cybernetics, technology, and the ideas that connect research with broader cultural and public questions. Through conversations with guests from diverse backgrounds, I aim to unpack the technical and philosophical dimensions of these fields in plain language and make them accessible beyond disciplinary boundaries.
Delivered two guest lectures tracing the shift from Newtonian determinism to cybernetics and complexity science, with examples spanning autonomous machines, hyperuniformity, and generative AI.
Presented my research spanning geometry-driven hyperuniformity and AI-mediated information flow at a meeting bringing together mathematicians and theoretical physicists interested in order and disorder.
Led a one-hour session on self-organisation, adaptability, and resilience for the Hong Kong Baptist University Global Study Tour, adapted from my existing longer workshop in the McCusker Institute's SoCIETIE program.
Presented my work on "Semantic topologies in the recursive application of genAI models" (joint work with Ben Swift).
Took part in a Speed Meet with Year 11 students from across Australia, sharing my career journey and answering questions about university, research, and PhD life.
With colleagues at the ANU School of Cybernetics, we set up PANIC! (an interactive AI Art installation) at the SXSW Sydney 2024 Tech and Innovation Expo.
Selected as one of 40 participants worldwide for the SFI summer school, an intensive program combining lectures, workshops, and collaborative research across a wide range topics about complexity.
